CleanZone Series air purifiers were developed for offices, schools, hospitals, and other commercial sites negatively affected by elevated levels of air pollution and biological contaminants.
With high-efficiency pre-filtration and HyperHEPA media, CleanZone Series air purifiers can filter viruses¹, bacteria², pollen, dust, and other allergens. This includes critical biological contaminants such as aspergillosis³, MRSA, and SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Ultrafine particles make up over 90% of all airborne particles and have been linked to heart attacks, strokes, asthma, respiratory disease, and even cancer.
CleanZone Series air purifiers have exceptional airflow capacities up to 1400 cubic feet per minute of clean air. That’s six times higher than what typical air filtration systems are capable of delivering at low noise levels. This can provide up to four complete air changes per hour in a 7,500 cubic foot room even at an average of 500 cfm.
CleanZone Series high-performance air purifiers are among the quietest in the world, virtually inaudible even in quiet indoor spaces, such as offices and classrooms. Even at the highest fan speed setting, the CleanZone SL only generates an incredibly low sound level of 45 dB(A). That’s three times lower than the sound generated by typical professional air purifiers and practically inaudible even in a quiet workplace environment.
CleanZone Series air purifiers can mount vertically or horizontally, up high or down low, freeing up valuable floor space in busy offices, classrooms, and other spaces. Airflow from the CleanZone Series can be directed where it's needed, without creating drafts or air disturbances that detract from its unobtrusive operation.

Advanced Micro-Fibers (AMF) in the CleanZone Series are 10 times thinner than conventional filter fibers, allowing air to easily pass through filtration media with little resistance, turbulence, or noise while ultrafine threads create an almost impenetrable barrier for pollutants – including airborne biological contaminants like viruses and bacteria.
IQAir engineers carefully studied air cleaner airflow patterns to create the most effective air cleaning possible: the result was our Air Change Optimization (ACO) Technology, which not only cleans more air but also distributes it more effectively in the room, allowing more clean air with less noise than ever before achievable by a high-performance air purifier.
With the optional IQAir FlexAir Duct Application, CleanZone 5000 air purifiers can direct clean air to specific locations or create clean air micro-environments. Ducting also allows the creation of negative or positive pressurization. Ducted operation enables the CleanZone 5000 to distribute up to 40 meters of medical-grade clean air exactly where it’s needed.
Pollution level adjustment controls are built into the Filter Life Monitor on CleanZone 5000 Series air purifiers, providing a more accurate calculation of remaining filter life. The Pollution Level menu allows modifications for large dust, chemicals, and fine dust. Adjustments can be made for tobacco smoke, the presence of gases and chemicals, and dusty environments.
CleanZone Series air purifiers require only 100 watts of electricity, about the same as a conventional light bulb, and costs only a few cents a day to clean the air in environments up to 9,000 square feet. The powerful IQAir CleanZone Series fan is maintenance-free, so there’s no cost to keep your CleanZone Series air purifier fine-tuned.
Your IQAir CleanZone Series can be installed and supported by a team of IQAir Air Quality Experts as needed. This includes identifying the ideal location for the air cleaners and the mounting of the systems. The performance of a system after installation can be verified by the IQAir team using cutting-edge handheld laser particle counters to measure air contaminants at the inlet and outlet.
A study conducted by the University of California, Riverside, College of Engineering Center for Environmental Research demonstrated that the IQAir CleanZone SL stand-alone air filtration system removed 90% of black carbon particles and 95% of ultrafine particles in the air from a classroom in Jurupa Valley, California. Other government studies of IQAir filtration technologies have yielded similar results, clearly showing the superior filtration capabilities of IQAir's HyperHEPA filtration technology.
