IQAir Product Warranty Overview

Each IQAir air purifier is backed by our commitment to longevity and performance. IQAir North America, Inc. ("IQAir"), warrants the following products against defects in materials and workmanship, when used normally in accordance with IQAir's published guidelines, for a period of 1 year (unless otherwise stated below) from original retail purchase with valid proof of purchase from an authorized retailer in North America.

IQAir is proud to extend the warranty period as set forth below when the original end-user: (1) registers the product within 90 days of original retail purchase, and (2) enrolls the product in IQAir’s filter subscription program within 12 months of original retail purchase and maintains continuous enrollment. As an alternative to enrollment in the filter subscription program, users may instead provide proof of purchase of genuine IQAir filters, from IQAir or an authorized retailer, every 12-15 months after original purchase date.

Registration requires the user to provide the product serial number and valid proof of purchase from IQAir or an authorized retailer and may be completed through the IQAir app or online at https://www.iqair.com/us/support/warranty.

Warranty Limitations 

This warranty is non-transferable, and applies only to the original end-user purchaser. This warranty does not apply to any product that has been removed from North America. This warranty does not apply to any product that has been modified, altered or tampered with in any way. This warranty does not apply to any consumables (such as filters or air quality sensors) or accessories. Damage caused to the product by use of third-party filters, accessories, or power cords, may void this warranty. This warranty does not cover software distributed by IQAir with this product. Please refer to the licensing agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use.

Why does an IQAir Extended Warranty require a Filter Subscription or proof of genuine IQAir filter purchase?

IQAir’s Extended Warranty rely on genuine, high-performance, factory-tested replacement filters that are changed according to manufacturer’s recommended use. This allows our fan to last and withstand continued long-term use. Furthermore, after market filters are not designed to meet the stringent performance standards of IQAir genuine replacement filters, as many have been tested to have at least 41% less airflow than genuine filters, which strains the fan and compromises air purifier performance. This is why the use of IQAir genuine filters, either through a subscription or with proof of purchase every 12-15 months, are required for IQAir extended, limited warranty.

IQAir Replacement Filter Guarantee

IQAir guarantees our genuine filters meet our stringent performance standards and are all factory tested. Genuine filters are warrantied for 30 days post-purchase, given usage aligns with the replacement guidelines in our User Manual. Within this period, any defective filter will be replaced by IQAir at no cost, including shipping. This warranty, ensuring top-notch air quality, is non-transferable. You can also contact IQAir customer service by telephone at 1-888-560-1020, or email at warranty.na@iqair.com. Before receiving warranty service, IQAir may require you to furnish proof of purchase details, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues, and follow IQAir's procedures for obtaining warranty service. In the event of warranty service, IQAir will, at its option: (i) repair the product using new or previously used IQAir genuine parts that have been tested and passed IQAir functional requirements; (ii) replace the product with the same or substantially similar model; or (iii) exchange the product for a refund of purchase price. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring any products to IQAir for warranty service, and IQAir will be responsible for return shipping. Warranty service shall not extend the original warranty period.
